It’s month of June now and Pinoys in Hong Kong have another fun filled day to look forward in the next few days.
The Philippine Independence Day Organizing Committee in cooperation with the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong will hold another spectacular event next weekend.
Dubbed as “Lakbay ng Kalayaan, 113th Philippine Independence Day Celebration 2011″ this whole day affair will showcase the best of Filipino cultures and traditions. This include the folk and ethnic dances, choral competition, cultural parade and performances.
There will be historical floats too plus OWF and Global Pinoy booths to add attraction to Hong Kong community. Aside from fun games, there will be poster making contest too.
This festival will not be completed without variety show with guest artists coming direct from Manila. They are Izza Calzado, Dennis Trillo, Edu Manzano, Wendy Robin and Band and more.
All this will happen on June 12, 2011, Sunday at Chater Garden in Central, from 8am to 7pm.
